Save the date for this awesome monthly concert in Downtown West Monroe!
Billy Allen + The Pollies will be traveling from Muscle Shoals to take the stage! 
They meld soul, funk, grunge, and gospel into a rocking Southern engine. The group aligned at Fame Studios, combining Billy’s soulful voice with The Pollies’ rock dexterity. They have quickly catapulted to playing stages around the country, including opening for Jason Isbell. Their upcoming album, “Black Noise,” was produced by Jay Burgess ofthe Pollies, and Ben Tanner, Single Lock Records founder, and Alabama Shakes keyboardist.
There will also be a pie baking contest to benefit downtown hosted prior to the show with slices available for purchase. A whiskey and spirits tasting presented by Choice Brands will be from 6-8 with proceeds benefitting the upcoming Northeast Louisiana Celtic Festival. Tickets for the tasting are $20. Ouachita Live is a downtown concert series held on the last Friday of the month from March through October from 7-9 PM in Downtown West Monroe’s Alley Park. Food trucks and spirits on-site! Shows are free but donations are strongly encouraged! Bring a chair to guarantee a seat.
