Ouachita live - Featuring A.J. Haynes
The 2025 Ouachita Live Season starts in just two weeks on 3/28!
We’re kicking off with an amazing artist with northeast Louisiana roots! A.J. Haynes is a soulful enchantress of music who blends rock, disco, gospel, and soul. Rooted in Southern rhythms, her spellbinding voice balances raw power and vulnerability. Inspired by Aretha Franklin, Alice Coltrane, and Prince, she channels the past while forging her own path. Known for electrifying performances and thoughtful lyrics, A.J. explores identity, love, and justice. She has earned widespread acclaim for her magnetic presence and thought-provoking lyrics. She is also the band leader for the soul power band the Seratones!

Ouachita Live is a free outdoor concert series that takes place the last Friday of the month from March to October in Downtown West Monroe’s Alley Park from 7-9 PM. Food trucks and spirits on-site. Bring a chair. Donation are accepted and go to support our artists!

Thank you to this month’s sponsors and grant partners: New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, and Choice Brands. Also supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council, as administered by the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council. Funding has also been provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
