Rock & Relief for Hurricane Ida
Join us for a community concert to benefit the United Way’s Embrace Louisiana disaster relief fund to assist evacuees and those affected by Hurricane Ida. The concert will be held in downtown West Monroe’s Alley Park (corner of Trenton and Natchitoches Streets) on Thursday, September 9, from 6:00 to 9:30 PM.
People are asked to bring a chair to guarantee a seat. The event will be free to attend. Monetary donations to the Embrace Louisiana fund will be encouraged.
The event will feature some of Northeast Louisiana’s favorite musicians including but not limited to:
Dan Sumner
Hidden Tracks
John Farmer
Jordan Sheppard and the Cypress Knees
Josh Madden
Kirby Rambin
Monty Russel and the Angel Oaks
The Vidrines
Event sponsors include Jim Taylor Buick GMC, the West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce, and the City of West Monroe.
All funds received through the Embrace Louisiana fund will be used to meet the basic needs of Hurricane Ida evacuees sheltering in Northeast Louisiana and those affected by Hurricane Ida.
