United Way of Northeast Louisiana is partnering with Entergy Louisiana to provide utility bill assistance to qualifying Entergy electric customers who reside in the 12-parish service area: Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union, or West Carroll parishes. Starting Wednesday, Aug. 17th at 9:00 a.m. CST, qualifying customers will be able to apply online at unitedwaynela.org/entergybill for a one-time, $150 credit on their Entergy electric
City of West Monroe receives grant for public fishing pier on Ouachita River
The City of West Monroe received notification it has received a grant from the La. Department of Wildlife and Fisheries for the construction of a public fishing pier on the Ouachita River. The grant will pay for a portion of the construction of a floating fishing pier that can be accessed by the public on property owned by the City of West Monroe along the Ouachita River in downtown West Monroe.
