Join us for CONSTITUTION WEEK FUN 2025 September 16-21, 2025 The Children’s Museum is hosting our 2 nd Annual Constitution Week from September 16-21, 2025. The City of West Monroe Board of Aldermen has named a new fire chief to lead the West Monroe Fire Department. United Way of Northeast Louisiana has opened volunteer recruitment for the 2025–2026 READ.LEARN.SUCCEED. (RLS) initiative, inviting community members to support local 2nd–3rd grade students as Volunteer Readers or Pen Friends. RESET Louisiana Updates Tax Study
RESET Louisiana hired well-known economist and fiscal expert Greg Albrecht in fall 2024 to conduct an independent analysis of the tax reform plan proposed by Gov. Jeff Landry’s administration, which was debated during a November special session.
