Benefit Raffle for Mitch Jones

Mitch Jones suffered a spinal cord injury and was paralyzed after being struck by a vehicle in 2004.  Although he may have lost the ability to walk, he never lost the drive and determination to keep living a normal lifestyle. Through the help of family, friends and the medical industry, Mitch adapted to his disability and kept moving forward.  Mitch was fitted with a motorized wheelchair and handicap accessible van which enabled him to continue working in his family owned business until he was recently instructed by doctors to stop working for medical reasons.  In addition to all of his own challenges, Mitch also recently lost his mother who lived with him.  Mitch's van is now approximately 14 years old and in need of many repairs.  This benefit has been set up by his friends to raise money to help Mitch purchase a new and more reliable vehicle.  Please join us for a good cause and take a chance on winning one or more of the 26 guns provided by TP Outdoors in West Monroe.  Tickets are $100 each and good for each of the 26 drawings.  And of course donations are welcome and greatly appreciated with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Mitch.  For more information or to make a donation, please contact Todd Tidwell (318-791-1794) or Barry Bell (318-547-6907) or Tom McCandlish (318-547-5925).
