Discover Monroe-West Monroe is accepting applications for MWM Restaurant Week 2025! The applications opened Tuesday, July 1 for local restaurants and food trucks to apply. The weeklong celebration of chefs and local eateries will take place September 15 – September 21, 2025. The Twin Cities’ locally owned restaurants will offer fixed-price menu options. The City of West Monroe has announced activities for this year’s Independence Day Celebration. Activities begin Thursday, July 3 through Sunday, July 6. Market on the Square at the Farmer’s Market at Seventh Square will have an Independence Day celebration on Saturday, July 5 that will include vendors, 4-H animals, jumpers, music and food.
