The City of West Monroe and the Ouachita Parish Police Jury will hold a water distribution on Saturday, Feb. 20 for West Monroe and West Ouachita residents who are under a boil advisory. The water distribution will be held on Saturday, Feb. 20 from noon to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of West Monroe City Hall located at 2305 N. 7th Street. The Louisiana Department of Revenue will begin accepting and processing 2020 state individual income tax returns on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021. West Monroe Main Street is soliciting grant applications for the Historic Revitalization Subgrant Program (HRSP). The Louisiana National Guard and Louisiana Department of Health are providing free COVID-19 testing beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the University of Louisiana Monroe. Testing will be ongoing.
