National Trust for Historic Preservation
Thursday, May 28 at 3pm ET
In response to the public health and economic challenges created by the coronavirus pandemic, Congress has passed four funding packages, and is currently working on additional legislative responses in the weeks or months to come. Preservationists need to be engaged in these discussions – from ways to support America’s Main Streets to and using bricks and mortar revitalization as a proven method for stimulating job creation and local economies.
Panelists include Patrice Frey, President and CEO of the National Main Street Center; Tom Cassidy, Vice President of Government Relations at the National Trust; Chris Moore, Executive Director of the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation; Kelly Lizarraga, Advocacy Coordinator at the Coalition for American Heritage; and Pam Bowman, Director of Public Lands Policy at the National Trust.
