Louisiana Main Street Restoration Grant - Webinar
Louisiana Main Street Restoration Grant opportunity for business and building owners located in the Historic District. This grant is for interior or exterior building projects. Grant awards range from $2,500 to $10,000. The statewide competitive grant requires a 50/50 match.
We'll be co-hosting a Q&A Zoom (flyer included) about the program July 9 at 2:00 PM.
This is different from the small business grant (also branded "Main Street") that is coming from the La Treasury.
Applications are available by emailing alafrance@westmonroe.la.gov. Completed applications should be submitted to me no later than Thursday, July 23 at 1:00 PM.
Buildings must be at least 50 years old, and be used for commercial purposes. In addition, the proposed work must be approved by the City of West Monroe Historic Preservation Commission and the LA Main Street office, while also conforming to the the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation guidelines. Construction estimates and sketches of the proposed changes are required.
