The IMPACT “Continuing Education Series for Legal, Policy and Political Professionals” to replace LABI's “Beyond the Bar”. The IMPACT is a series of five virtual seminars that will occur monthly, starting in August and running through the end of the year.
The first seminar, Legal Climate Change and the Legislature, is scheduled for Thursday, August 27. This virtual session will be a deep dive into the passage of tort reform with some of the lawmakers who were leading the effort inside the State Capitol. Legal experts will also talk about the impacts of this legislation on civil litigation, as well as touch on the COVID-19 liability protections that the Legislature passed.
