WFR Church Announces “Night of Alleluias” as Christmas Gift to Community
The White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ today announced it will host the original production of “Night of Alleluias” as a Christmas gift to the community on Saturday, December 10
th, and Sunday, December 11
th at 6 p.m. The Christmas drama will be presented by the WFR Drama Ministry, no admission will be charged, and the public is invited to attend. The program will be held at 3201 North 7
th Street in West Monroe.
The contemporary Christian musical production will present the life of Christ from Old Testament prophecy through birth, his ministry, his crucifixion and resurrection. Kim Stephens and LinDee Loveland are directing and producing the show, which incorporates fifteen contemporary and traditional Christian songs. Dave Clark, Mark Harris, and Dan Koch are the writers, Bradley Knight arranged the music. Peggy West is musical director. The Drama Ministry volunteers are building sets, providing special visual effects, lighting, and technical support. Missy Robertson of
Duck Dynasty and Terry Davis, WFR Praise Leader, will be among the 50 volunteer performers.
WFR Church pastor Dr. Trent Langhofer has issued an invitation to the community to attend. “This is our church’s Christmas gift to the region,” he said. “We know this is a busy season, but we hope you will take time to enjoy this moving program and come visit with us. I know you will leave feeling the blessings of the season.”
