About Us

KTVE originally signed on as KRBB on December 3, 1955 in El Dorado, Arkansas. In 1961, the call letters were changed to KTVE and broadcast the first color images in the market. In 1966, KTVE opened a studio in Monroe. Then in 1984, KTVE moved its studios from El Dorado to Monroe. KTVE moved into its current West Monroe facilities in 2001. KTVE’s syndicated programming includes Entertainment Tonight, Dr. Oz, and Rachel Ray. KTVE produces 19.5 hours of local news per week and has a studio in El Dorado, Arkansas. KTVE, along with KARD, has the only Doppler radar in the Monroe/El Dorado DMA.
