Bulls in the Streets

The annual Bulls in the Streets event will bring the spirit of Spain to downtown Monroe Saturday, June 9^th. Participants and spectators are invited to join the fun as families line the streets for the spectacle! Instead of live bulls, roller derby girls donning bull horns and armed with wiffle-ball bats will skate on the heels of those willing to run, walk or crawl to the one-mile finish-line. While the winner gets a trophy, the real draw for many will be the laughs and stories along the route as the roller-bulls “attack” runners with their bats.
