About Dr. Terrell:
Dek Terrell is Director of the LSU Division of Economic Development. Prof. Terrell received his Ph.D. from Duke University in 1991 and came to LSU in 1996 after spending 5 years at Kansas State University. He has published over 30 academic journal articles and co-edited 5 research volumes. Prof. Terrell has headed the research group now known as the Center for Economics, Business and Policy Research for over 20 years. He has completed 125 funded research projects valued at over $15 million mostly on topics related to the Louisiana economy.
