Downtown Master Plan Public Update II
You're invited to attend a Public Update Session as part of the Downtown Master Plan. The project is being led by McClure Group, a community development firm. During these interactive public meetings, McClure will present updated project concepts for downtown and gather audience feedback. This is McClure's third on-site visit for public meetings and project work.
These two sessions are open to the public and will help solidify the future vision of our downtown. The sessions will be similar in format, so it is not necessary to attend both sessions.
The City of West Monroe received a $99,000 USDA Rural Business Development Grant to create a master plan for the downtown Cotton Port Historic District. The plan will identify projects that positively impact economic development, population growth, and quality of life. Possible funding sources will also be identified in the plan.
The two sessions are as follows:
Monday, Jan 27th at 5:30 p.m. at the Kiroli Park Lodge, 820 Kiroli Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291
Tuesday, Jan 28th at 8:30 a.m. in downtown at 111 Cotton St, West Monroe 71291
