About the Artists:
Emma Brumley:
My name is Emma Brumley. This year I am a senior at a local Christian School. I have been born and raised in West Monroe, Louisiana and have always had a strong passion for music. My love for music has led me towards seeking out and growing in my career.
Cal Presley:
Born in California, raised in Louisiana, Cal Presley has always been a simple kind of guy. The type of guy that likes to wear backwards hats, T-shirts, and is not afraid to get his hands dirty. When he is not playing music, he is usually enjoying his time with close friends and family. Early on Cal knew he had an obsession with music but as no one in his family was music oriented he didn’t really know how to build his skill. He was, however, able to get his hands on an old guitar and then his hunger just grew from there. Now with one single out and more on the way, Cal along with the band are filling each city that they play with joy, laughter, and entertainment. Keep an eye out for tons of new songs to come.
Rod Allen and Lisa Spann:
Rod Allen Payne is one of North Louisiana’s most visible musicians. His command of many different styles of music has kept him busy at the piano and keyboard and in the public eye for more than 30 years. He makes his home in Monroe, LA. He has performed at hundreds of society events, corporate affairs, wedding reception and dances. In addition to performing, Rod has written numerous commercials and theme songs. Joined with Lisa Spann on the stage this duo is sure to please.
Lisa Spann cut her musical teeth in school and church choir. A proud native Louisiana Artist, she is a versatile singer who is able to sing selections of music from many genres of music, from jazz, blues, rock, country, pop, to the classics. A big honor for her was singing with Louisiana Legend Doug Duffey, at the 2003 New Orleans Jazz Fest and on several of his recordings. She has also worked with another Louisiana Legend, GG Shinny’s. Other performances with Rod Allen Payne, The Buddy Terzia Band and the Louisiana Legacy Orchestra, have also added to her list of accomplishments.
Robert Wright:
Robert Kenneth Wright, a native of Monroe, Louisiana, has led a multifaceted life as an educator, artist, photographer, and performer. His artistic journey began in childhood, studying under renowned painters and participating in talented art programs. After serving in the United States Marines, Wright pursued digital photography in Chicago, leading to his work being featured in national magazines. His photography career includes projects for universities, local schools, and architectural documentation. Wright’s passion for history led him to earn a master’s degree in the subject in 2020, after teaching social studies for eight years at various levels. Currently, he owns his own business and teaches United States History at the University of Louisiana Monroe. Wright is also a creative writer, having authored a book series, and has worked as a background actor on numerous film sets. His talents extend to music as well, performing as a restaurant and event singer, an Elvis tribute artist, and serving as a musician at a local church since 2016. This diverse background showcases Wright’s commitment to education, creativity, and community service across multiple disciplines.
