Celebrating the Arrival of New Fire Trucks to Ouachita Parish
The “Push-In” Ceremony is a cherished tradition in the fire service, dating back to the 1800s when firefighters would unhitch their horses and manually push the fire wagon back into the station. Today, this symbolic act continues as a meaningful way to honor the past while embracing progress.
