Louisiana Census Day
The United Way of Northeast Louisiana has joined United Ways throughout our state and country in efforts to raise awareness about the importance of responding to the 2020 Census by September 30th. For each Louisianan that goes uncounted, it is estimated that Louisiana loses out on $2,291 in federal funding -- much needed for the recovery road ahead.
As part of his schedule for this day, Governor John Bel Edwards will join a statewide call hosted by the Louisiana Association of United Ways at 10:30am.
