Monroe Civic Center, 401 Lea Joyner Expressway, Monroe, LA
All residents of Ouachita and surrounding Parishes can participate.
Accepting Recycling Materials such as: Tires (please see the note below), office paper, magazines, card board, Plastic Containers Numbers 1 thru 7 (no plastic bags or styrofoam), white goods/scrap metal (tin cans, aluminum cans, old appliances, refrigerators, stoves, and hot water heaters), automobile batteries and electronic wastes (computers, monitors, assorted computer accessories, printers, scanners, fax machines, speakers, VCRs, DVD players, stereo equipment, TVs, cell phones, etc. anything with a cord).
TIRES WITH UP TO A 20 INCH RIM DIMENSION WILL BE ACCEPTED.
LIMITED TO 5 TIRES PER Participant.
PROHIBITED Materials: Glass, household chemicals, pesticides, paints, stains, motor oil, infectious/medical waste, radioactive materials, compressed gas cylinders, ammunition, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and explosives.
THIS COLLECTION IS FOR HOUSEHOLDS ONLY. Large quantities from businesses, farms, or commercial operations will not be accepted.
Please utilize this opportunity to recycle items and keep is out of our landfills, waterways and natural environment.
