Friday March 31st kicks off our 2023 Ouachita Live concert series! Blues sensation and B.B. King “King of the Blues” winner D.K. Harrell and his band will take the stage with us from 7-9pm in Downtown West Monroe’s Alley Park.
Ruston native D.K. Harrell has performed at the New Orleans Crescent City Blues Fest, Ground Zero in Clarksdale, MS, and he recently represented the B.B. King Museum at the Mississippi Delta Blues Fest in Brazil. He is dedicated to preserving the blues guitar sound created by his inspiration, B.B. King. In 2022, he placed third in the International Blues Challenge out of 200+ finalists from around the world.
This free show is open to all ages! Remember to bring a chair. Food trucks KaCee Dillas- and Kona Ice of NELA will be on-site.
