State Tax Forum
The Louisiana Department of Revenue and the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce have partnered to offer a free tax forum focused on the recent legislative changes passed during the 2016 First Extraordinary Session. Jay Frost, a native of Monroe will deliver the keynote message. The session will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 2 p.m. at the West Monroe Convention Center, 901 Ridge Ave.
Jay Frost is a native of Monroe, LA and graduate of Ouachita Parish High School. He attended Louisiana Tech University receiving a Bachelor of Science from the School Of Professional Accountancy. He currently resides in Youngsville, LA. Jay has been with the Department of Revenue over 30 years. He began his work with the Department as a Revenue Tax Auditor in Monroe. He later transferred to the Baton Rouge Headquarters where he has held the positions of Revenue Tax Audit Reviewer, Assistant Director, Field Audit Services, Director, Field Audit Services and Director, Audit Review and Appeals. He currently holds the position of Assistant Secretary, Group 3.
