ULM Presidential Search Committee Forum

If you have ideas about the skills and traits the next president of the University of Louisiana Monroe, you'll have a chance to voice them soon.

The ULM Presidential Search Committee will hold its first meeting at 1 p.m. March 11 at Bayou Pointe Event Center, 1 Warhawk Way, Monroe.

Current President Nick Bruno announced his retirement in January and plans to depart by June 30.

UL System President and CEO Jim Henderson will chair the committee as a non-voting member. Voting members include 10 board members and Janelle McDaniel, president of the ULM Faculty Senate. In addition to the 11 voting members, 10 community members will serve in an advisory capacity as non-voting members.

The committee will create a timeline for the search and build a profile for the best candidate.

Public input is the last item on the agenda, so community stakeholders will get to share their ideas for the process.
