Summer Graphic Design Intern

June – August (Ideally may continue for the remainder of 2025)  | Part-Time | West Monroe, LA

The West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce is seeking a creative and reliable Summer Intern to support our communications and design efforts during a busy season of events and publications. This is a part-time internship (hours negotiable), ideal for a college student or recent graduate looking to gain real-world experience in graphic design, print layout, and visual content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with layout and design for print projects, including:
  • Our annual Chamber magazine
  • The West Monroe magazine and related inserts or collateral
• Create event marketing materials such as flyers, postcards, and signage
• Design social media graphics for campaigns, member spotlights, and community announcements
• Help maintain branding consistency across all print and digital assets
• Provide general creative support for Chamber staff as needed

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of design principles and layout
• Experience creating content for both print and digital formats
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content styles is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
• Must be dependable, organized, and able to meet project deadlines

Schedule & Compensation:

• Flexible part-time hours (approx. 10–15 hours per week)
• Internship runs from early June through August
• Work will be in-person at our West Monroe office
