KTVE-KARD RAISES NEARLY 6 TONS OF FOOD & WATER TO HELP FEED AND HYDRATE HOMLESS VETERANS

NBC10 and FOX14 employees participated in sorting, and transporting over 5 tons of non-perishable food and water to the Wellspring to be distributed to area homeless veterans. The food was purchased by customers at Mac’s Fresh Market locations in Monroe, West Monroe, Columbia, and El Dorado by purchasing $10 pre-packaged bags, and from general donations from the public.The event was a part of Nexstar Media Group’s annual Founder’s Day of Caring.
