Kiroli Foundation & City of West Monroe to host historical tour at Hasley Cemetery on Nov 1
The Kiroli Foundation and City of West Monroe are pleased to announce a special living history tour of Hasley Cemetery on Saturday, Nov. 1.
The second annual “Hasley: Voices of the Past” will be a ticketed twilight tour of portions of the cemetery featuring the final resting place of notable community figures. Their intriguing tales and legacies will come to life through storytelling by actors portraying a journey through time.
The tour is written and directed by Kay LaFrance-Knight. Gayle Frick is leading costuming and casting for the tour.
Kilpatrick Funeral Homes is sponsoring this year’s tour.
The tour will take place at four different times on Saturday, Nov. 1 – 6 p.m, 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Attendees will meet at West Monroe City Hall prior to their designated tour time, and they will be shuttled to Hasley Cemetery. Limited seating is available per tour.
Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased online through Eventbrite. A link to purchase tickets can be found on the City of West Monroe’s website at www.cityofwestmonroe.com or the City of West Monroe’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CityofWestMonroe
