Mid South Extrusion donates $25,000 to Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum

The Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum received a major boost towards construction and educational programming of a new museum from one of this area’s most respected leaders in manufacturing.
 
     A donation of $25,000 was presented by Mid South Extrusion on August 28, 2024. “Today’s donation makes a positive difference to the educational experiences of thousands of children now, and for many years to come,” said Children’s Museum Director Melissa Saye. “It is also an investment in our region demonstrating that our community understands the importance of expanding learning opportunities for our children.”
 
     Mid South Extrusion is a family owned industry-leading producer of innovative flexible films. MSE’s high-performance blown films are utilized in flexible packaging solutions, industrial manufacturing, consumer goods, and other end-use applications.  "MSE is committed to the future growth and prosperity of northeast Louisiana. We believe that educating our youth is critical to achieving that success. Our company is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Children's Museum and is excited to collaborate with Melissa and her team to bring this state-of-the-art facility to Forsythe Park," said Mark Kent Anderson, EVP of Sales & Marketing.
