NELA Music Awards Announces Hosts, Performers, and BB King Exhibits
The NELA Music Association is proud to announce the 2025 NELA Music Awards presented by Northeast Delta Human Services Authority. The awards show will be on August 14, 2025, at the Monroe Civic Center. Zane Anderson and American Idol contestant, Clara Rae will be the hosts for the event. We look forward to a great night full of unforgettable music and a shared passion for our community’s incredible talent.
The unique line up for the evening is something you do not want to miss. The musicians and performers that will featured includes the John Brown Memorial Band, Clara Rae & Zane Anderson, Tawanna Tarvin, The reunion of Easy Eddie & The Party Rockers, Kiko Pryor, Robert Finley, Gary Brown, Monty Russell, Dave Reeves, Danny Witherington, General Patterson, Hot Grits, LeRoy Marshall, and The Gin Mobsters. There will also be a Tim McGraw tribute during the show with Clay LaBeff, Micah Kennedy, Katie Knight, Averyal Goyne, Gray Vickers, and Clayton Maza performing.
At 2:00pm, There will be a Ribbon Cutting held by Monroe Chamber of Commerce and West Monroe- West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce. At this time there will also be a B.B. King Birthday Party held, with the opportunity to get an early look at the B.B. King Exhibit.
The evening will begin at 6:00pm with an Art Reception hosted by Northeast Louisiana Delta African American Heritage Museum and Richland Arts Council. The works of Artist Frank Kelly Jr., Shiketra May, Shavondalyn Williams, Monique Shantay, and Glen Scott Smith will be on display. Along with the B.B. King Exhibit, including the iconic guitar “Lucille,” will be displayed during the event. This was made possible with a partnership with the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center.
