The Center for Children & Families to Host “Dinkin’ For Hope” Pickleball Tournament

The Center for Children & Families is excited to announce its upcoming “Dinkin’ For Hope” Pickleball Tournament taking place September 6–7 at the Monroe Athletic Club. This lively community event will raise funds to support The Center’s mission of promoting safe, healthy environments for children and families through advocacy, counseling, education, and prevention programs.

Sponsored by Monroe Athletic Club, Marsala Beverage, and the Development Board of The Center, the tournament will feature two days of fun, friendly competition, and community engagement. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate, with proceeds directly benefiting the nearly 5,000 children and families served by The Center.

“We’re thrilled to bring the community together for this exciting event,” said Chris Ramsey, Chief Operating Officer of The Center for Children & Families. “Pickleball is growing in popularity, and this tournament offers a fun way to support vital services that strengthen families and protect children in our services.”

Local businesses, churches, and civic groups are encouraged to enter teams to compete and support this important cause. “This tournament is a great opportunity to combine fun and purpose,” said Kelsey Laudenheimer, event organizer and Development Board member at The Center. “I encourage teams to sign up and help us raise support for such an important cause.”
