This free event promises a delightful morning of fun and education in the beautiful setting of the family garden.

Super Saturday in the Garden is a beloved tradition at the Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana, offering children and families an opportunity to come together for engaging activities and memorable experiences. On Saturday, May 18, 2024,  it's the place to BEE, as the spotlight shines on the essential role of pollinators in our ecosystem.

Children and parents alike will have the chance to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of pollinators through interactive exhibits, games, and hands-on activities. From learning about the life cycle of bees to discovering where honey comes from to exploring the diverse array of pollinator-friendly plants, there will be something for everyone of all ages to enjoy.

“It is exciting to host Super Saturday in our Family Garden every other month, offering children and families a place to learn while having fun," says Brittany McNamara, Development Director at the Children's Coalition. "May’s event is all about celebrating the beauty and importance of pollinators while having a blast with the whole family. You won't want to miss it! Follow @ccnela on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with all 2024 Super Saturday events."

In addition to the educational activities, Super Saturday in the Garden will feature live demonstrations, storytelling sessions, and even a chance to taste some delicious honey treats.
